Noah had his 4 month appt. today, which meant: shots.. :( However, on an upside, the Dr. said that he is definitely doing very well growing and catching up. He is now on the charts, even though he is at the low end, he is now on them...
Noah is now 11 pounds 11 ounces, and 22 and 3.4 inches. He's getting so big!!!
The other day Emma was over for a lil visit, and while Lindsay and I were talking about them getting their shots, Noah and Emma started to talk to one another. It was so funny. They were quiet the whole afternoon, and once we started to mention the shots, they were full of noises and just babbled back and forth to each other, it was the cutest thing!
With the upcoming winter months, this means RSV season. For preemies this can be a dangerous thing, and for most - they get a shot each month during the season. Noah is supposed to be getting his soon, and this also means...he'll be in lockdown again. So, for the next few months, we won't be taking him around groups or crowds, and we will be avoiding stores as well. Gonna be a long winter, but hey-gotta do what we gotta do. Nick may go stir crazy before I do this winter!
The Dr. also said that we can try to introduce him to cereal. He should really follow his adjusted age of 8 weeks when it comes to food, rather than 18 weeks, but the dr. said he may not even be physically ready to use a spoon, but we can attempt it.
Things seem to be going so fast with him...but, it is also so much fun now cause he is interacting with us so much more. He knows exactly when to flash us his smile, usually right about the time we are just so wishing he could feed and change himself! haha He gives us a lil grin and a giggle, and all is well!
