Mr. Personality

Noah had his NICU follow up appt. this week, he is exactly 14 pounds, and 24 inches long. Compared to other babies born in August (his original due date) he is in the 75th percentile for weight *oink* and the 50th for length, and head circ.

Since he is a preemie, he isn't compared to babies born around his birthdate in June, just those born during the month he was supposed to be born.

The appt. was pretty uneventful, because there wasn't anything the nurse was concerned with. Noah was at, or above every milestone she tested him for. We go back in 3 months for another follow up. He will have these every so often for the first 2 years, which by that time, he will be caught up to babies born in June.

Noah had his first RSV shot this month, and will continue to get one a month through March. So, hopefully that will help keep sickness away from our lil man.

He has also found a new friend....our wall clock. He will talk to it, stare at it, smile, and laugh...and you can't get him to focus on anything else when he is spending time with his 'friend'. haha!

He REALLY enjoys his food, if you do not put that cereal on the spoon fast enough, he will YELL at you until it is in his mouth. He just LOVES it. Tho, granny has him spoiled, and he won't take it unless there is a little prune juice mixed in! He is supposed to follow his adjusted age when it comes to food, so he should hold off on taking fruits and veggies for another 2 months. However, I gave him a little taste of (homemade) applesauce, and he LOVED it. So, when the times comes when I can give him more, he will be in Heaven!

He is getting so big, so fast...and tho I want to keep him little, I am really enjoying him changing and showing his personality. He is really becoming a super happy and content baby. FINALLY growing out of his preemie issues. YAY!
